Its getting important now
this is the stretch of season that seperates the good teams from the poor
teams are getting tired, and being one of the few with a dedicated fitness coach, it usually stands us in good stead

our lack of quality compared to others around us could also start to show here

Hogan is in and out of the team, but now leaves us with no cover at centre back
Livesey and Piergianni are going to have to come good for me now!

he played as an inside forward in this game along with Rabbi to give some extra oomph up front with Robson being the lone striker thrown in at the deep end and it paid off

Pre Season is upon us We have had our holidays in the sun, but the boys are back early, i need them in top condition for this season but first, the lads who wont be continuing on with us this year. Nottingham and Allen were taken on a Free just before they were released, they both deserve clubs as they are good enough, but not for the level we are at Phenix renewed his contract, but as he is slowing down for retirement, he goes onto a non-contract £0 contract but with a £900 appearance fee making him the clubs top earner, so he will play only when needed this season it would seem. A vital month incoming a potential round 3 FA cup is exciting still chasing down the required points to safety total is still at the forefront of our plans and a new look team ready to take on the world this season has the Salford faithful buzzing we are averaging 3700 fans a game this season and its fantastic day 1 when i took over we averaged 800 what a sequence of events what a journey so far who's looking forward to a 60,000 all seater in the premiership down the line? As November rolled round i'd had a stark realisation i'd been scouting for players non-stop this season looking for who i could pick up on a free to improve the squad, but i kept coming up with the same kind of players Either, a big lad with nothing but strength a really quick but techincally useless winger or someone who wasnt much use but had 100 caps for a random sub 200 ranked nation i needed help Yossi is all well and good but as his knowledge only spans England and Isreal, he covers the same area on knowledge i have, but does recommend at least 15 players for maccabi tel aviv each week and then this guy was all of a sudden made unemployed Dutchman Patrick Busby was released from FC Groningen as they looked to improve their scouting set up, but at league 2 level, this guy is by a country mile the best scout in the league on average, a scouting in league 2 has 8 for judging ability and 7 for potential the second best in the league ...

Season 3 It's here League football is coming to Moor Lane Im so happy to have gotten here in 2 seasons i was anticipating a year of adjustment last season, but we managed to over the pre-season 95/1 odds and came out on top this year brings the riches of league 2, and will give us far more wiggle room in the financial department, but, puts us up against far better opposition this will be difficult 650/1 to win the league we can write that off straight away, im hoping for survival, and anything above that is a bonus we are going to need to clear out some deadwood, save up those pennies, and build a squad capable of keeping us up.  First of all Budget time I've decided that as i havent spent a penny on transfer fees yet, im going to look to continue doing that as far as possible, thus hopefully getting us a decent kitty for when we get promoted again, so that being said, all the 1.3 million budget goes into wages instead ...

A happy new year to everyone! we are into January and it's the season of snow,y weather, postponed games and usually, a run of fixtures that will either make or break your season the lads are stocked up on turkey and pigs in blankets and have come back in virtually perfect condition I'm surprised With an FA cup 3rd round game for the first time in the clubs history, 2 big away games against Newport, who we should be beating comfortably and then Swindon, who will be very difficult to beat we have the chance to cement a  playoff place, but could equally find ourselves down in mid-table lets get to it Adrian! i nearly dropped my laptop when Adrian rodrgiues scored his first goal for the club the man the fans hated early on have now come to adore this clumsy yet loveable rogue in his new back three role and he repaid everyone with a bullet header 3 minutes in a brace from the ever reliable Redshaw, another from in form Rabbi and a cameo goal fro...

So its here The last game of the season and a chance for us to cement our place in history A chance to show exactly who we are and what we are all about to be etched into the history books we only need this one game to go our way and we've done more than we could have ever imagined so here we go It took an own goal an a whole bucket load of grit and determination but we did it! This is it This is what it comes down to A massive month, easily the biggest in the clubs history Can we do it? Can we do the unthinkable? People wrote us off People said we were "too small a club" what do they know? After a good month we needed to push on and continue to build momentum in what would be our busiest month to date with 7 fixtures. Another derby on new years day, the reverse fixture of the boxing day 2-2 game and hopefully a win this time. but other than that, nothing too worrying this month, other than Brackley we all hate Brackley dont we? A packed month ahead with 7 fixtures this month the wolves game will be treated as a rest and our focus is lying on the league games we are still getting at those 39 points and our focus will not change until that point, even if we are still in the playoff spots A clean sheet not a single shot on target against and 3 points a perfect performance Sangster filling in for Evans did very well and got a deserved goal lets keep this going 19 points needed We probably deserved 3 points, but 1 away at forest green will do Jeffrey looked sublime in this game, showing the blistering pace we signed him for and terrorised the opposition 18 needed lets ignore this yeah? we had more of the ball but our back line looks so shaky at times Hogan is the most accident prone footballer ive ever seen EVER he gifts goals like its christmas  its an away game though, so its not the end of the world i guess 18 needed another game domina...
