February 2
Its getting important now
this is the stretch of season that seperates the good teams from the poor
teams are getting tired, and being one of the few with a dedicated fitness coach, it usually stands us in good stead
however
our lack of quality compared to others around us could also start to show here
lets see..
to lose to 10 men always hurts
especially when its at home
what i said about the opposition just having that bit of something else really is coming to the fore, and this really didnt help after the game..
", and being one of the few with a dedicated fitness coach, it usually stands us in good stead"
why do i always do this to myself
Hogan is in and out of the team, but now leaves us with no cover at centre back
Livesey and Piergianni are going to have to come good for me now!
a good win and a good performance to go with it
4 goals was just what the doctor ordered and thankfully, the injury to bean was only a 3 day absence
thank god
another 4 goals
another 3 points
these 2 wins are VITAL and it wasnt the prettiest, but its a win with a patched together team
Balboa set the tone and the lads followed suit
but then...
6 weeks minimum
with only Redshaw left, we need a huge run of goals from him to see us through this tough patch and hopefully guarantee us a playoff place
a tough loss to take and we slip 2 places being the nature of how tight it is at the top
Hooper chipped in from the left wing in this one to show he has plenty to offer during all these injuries
speaking of which
It just isnt meant to be is it
No strikers in the entire Squad, the transfer window is firmly shut
we are done
unless
There was someone out on loan somewhere banging in goals we could recall???
Come on Jack Jr
now is your time!
Remember this guy?
yeah, im glad he's turned up too
he played as an inside forward in this game along with Rabbi to give some extra oomph up front with Robson being the lone striker thrown in at the deep end and it paid off
3 very unexpected points puts us top with results going our way!
this was coming to be fair
we had effectively a reserve team out and struggled from the outset to create anything of quality
and look here, whats that?
another injury?
of course
Terrible one this
we may well have seen the last ever game from Burge for the club as this injury rules him out way past the end of his contract.
if so
You Ryan Burge have been phenomenal
Thank you
A horrendous month of injuries, mixed with poor results finds us somehow still top with others struggling as much as we did.
how we arent 6th or below amazes me
although, theres now only 4 points between top and 7th
what a league!
