A BIG BIG MONTH

Hartlepool in the cup is a huge one

a league 2 team last year with pretty much the same team that went down, this will be a huge test but one to look forward to for sure.

we need to make sure this doesnt become a distraction though, the league and getting up the table is still the main aim.

 Another hat-trick for Redshaw, man this guy is good!

finally turning chances into goals and linking up with Phenix like they've played together for years.

Burge really is making the difference too, and to say he deserved this goal is an understatement

but now, the big one...

What a second half

we came out of the blocks at a million miles an hour and never stopped, the non-league messi (yes, im going with it) Redshaw bagged himself 4, yes 4 goals against a recently relegated league 2 team and we put Hartlepool to the sword in arguably the clubs biggest win in its history!

FA cup round 1 anyone?

well that wasnt in the script

maybe the lads were hungover? who knows

Redshaw did score again, but we were terrible at the back and paid for our laziness.

back to the training pitch as we have a top of the table clash with league favorites York next up...

 A win

and a good one

Not pretty, and not entertaining, but we get a huge 3 points here

again Redshaw scores and the very under rated Maynard popped up with a goal from 25 yards too, things are back to normal.

 No they arent.

4-0 up and cruising

and we blew it!

i dont even want to talk about this

the players were rightfully given an earful and made sure they knew they had to improve, i expect better.

And then this
Alfreton are struggling and havent won away from home in 5, and of course, we do them the service of handing them 3 points.
the boys went missing in this game and Alfreton deserved 3 points.
some defensive Changes are needed, but i cant see where we can improve without bringing in new faces...

Not a great month
but that win, that 6-1 win against Hartlepool will live long in the memory and makes this month a little less painful to look at.

4th isnt too bad, but Kidderminster are pulling away, unless we can have a really good month or two, we will need to start planning for the playoffs if we are wanting to go up.
the Run up to Xmas will be HUGE.

the boy cant stop scoring and now has more than a goal a game in all competitions this season and hopefully he can keep going now and take us into the promised land of the 3rd round of the FA cup.
We will need a good draw first though...
