MY Boys
Burge is missedand so is Redshaw but these boys have been phenomenal since Christmas
this is how we lineup, and this team has been good enough to win the league this season no doubt about it
Crocombe is the best keeper outside the leagues by a mile
since moving to a back 3 Piergianni, Livesey and Hogan have been bullet proof
the shepherd has been awesome since he came in and touray is mr reliable
Mafuta is a baby kante and Maynard is a more than competant stand in for Burge
Phenix might look like the bloke who stands by the jukebox in the red lion, but he's a baller week in week out
Emmanuel is a beast, look at him, his stare alone could kill a Rhino
And beesley
well
he looks like a lost schoolkid, but he's alright i guess

Phenix rightfully was our key player this year, he scored a boat load and set up even more
we are champions, and we still have a trip to wembley next month

Pre Season 2

Pre Season is upon us We have had our holidays in the sun, but the boys are back early, i need them in top condition for this season but first, the lads who wont be continuing on with us this year. Nottingham and Allen were taken on a Free just before they were released, they both deserve clubs as they are good enough, but not for the level we are at Phenix renewed his contract, but as he is slowing down for retirement, he goes onto a non-contract £0 contract but with a £900 appearance fee making him the clubs top earner, so he will play only when needed this season it would seem. I just couldnt let him go i said i wouldnt pay for player until we got into the league but this was a weird one if we signed him on a pre-contract we had to pay sollihull 6.5k but they were willing to accept £130 as a transfer so im not counting it anyway Welcome home Shepherd We go Global well He's from Leeds but he is spanish and shou

A vital month incoming a potential round 3 FA cup is exciting still chasing down the required points to safety total is still at the forefront of our plans and a new look team ready to take on the world this season has the Salford faithful buzzing we are averaging 3700 fans a game this season and its fantastic day 1 when i took over we averaged 800 what a sequence of events what a journey so far who's looking forward to a 60,000 all seater in the premiership down the line? Im not i want 1 point thats all then we can dream round 3 here we come! a nervous encounter where only an own goal got us going Rabbi saw the tie off and we move to round 3 a money spinner? a giant killing opportunity? not quite Ipswich it's a championship team and this will be hard but theres a chance they are 20th in the league and struggling financially we might, just might have a chance here in front of a packed Moor Lane

A happy new year to everyone! we are into January and it's the season of snow,y weather, postponed games and usually, a run of fixtures that will either make or break your season the lads are stocked up on turkey and pigs in blankets and have come back in virtually perfect condition I'm surprised With an FA cup 3rd round game for the first time in the clubs history, 2 big away games against Newport, who we should be beating comfortably and then Swindon, who will be very difficult to beat we have the chance to cement a  playoff place, but could equally find ourselves down in mid-table lets get to it Adrian! i nearly dropped my laptop when Adrian rodrgiues scored his first goal for the club the man the fans hated early on have now come to adore this clumsy yet loveable rogue in his new back three role and he repaid everyone with a bullet header 3 minutes in a brace from the ever reliable Redshaw, another from in form Rabbi and a cameo goal fro

As November rolled round i'd had a stark realisation i'd been scouting for players non-stop this season looking for who i could pick up on a free to improve the squad, but i kept coming up with the same kind of players Either, a big lad with nothing but strength a really quick but techincally useless winger or someone who wasnt much use but had 100 caps for a random sub 200 ranked nation i needed help Yossi is all well and good but as his knowledge only spans England and Isreal, he covers the same area on knowledge i have, but does recommend at least 15 players for maccabi tel aviv each week and then this guy was all of a sudden made unemployed Dutchman Patrick Busby was released from FC Groningen as they looked to improve their scouting set up, but at league 2 level, this guy is by a country mile the best scout in the league on average, a scouting in league 2 has 8 for judging ability and 7 for potential the second best in the league

So its here The last game of the season and a chance for us to cement our place in history A chance to show exactly who we are and what we are all about to be etched into the history books we only need this one game to go our way and we've done more than we could have ever imagined so here we go It took an own goal an a whole bucket load of grit and determination but we did it! those 3 games to start the month are perfectly placed weaker teams we should beat easily and allow us to rest some players (im going to regret that arent i) allows us to save some energy for the old Gateshead kiddermister Gateshead triple header talk about season defining.  We rested most of the midfield and defence in this one as North Ferriby are total pants Phenix and Redshaw saw to these lot within the hour Routine  Remember when i dropped these two at the start of the season? Yeah i dont trust myself either anymore another couple of goals each and they set each other up too might aswell not play anyone else lads, you crack on  I decided the rest of the team needed a run out so i dropped Phenix and Redshaw and told them it was "a rest" another routine victory against struggling spennymoor Emmanuel played another blinder here he goes missing for weeks then turns into a Lukaku - Drogba Hybrid overnight its scary...

Pre Season 4

And here it is Pre season rolls around and we move into the most challenging year of the clubs history ive been saying that a lot recently, but it's more and more true each time i say it We've achieved some incredible things, but this year will have to be something else in terms of effort and application as we take a shot at something we have never been anywhere near before and to start the month, we had a major departure from the backroom staff After interest from his homeland in Isreal Yossi Benayoun decided against renewing his contract at Salford and left as we entered July Yossi added some much needed experience to the backroom and will be missed. A packed month ahead with 7 fixtures this month the wolves game will be treated as a rest and our focus is lying on the league games we are still getting at those 39 points and our focus will not change until that point, even if we are still in the playoff spots A clean sheet not a single shot on target against and 3 points a perfect performance Sangster filling in for Evans did very well and got a deserved goal lets keep this going 19 points needed We probably deserved 3 points, but 1 away at forest green will do Jeffrey looked sublime in this game, showing the blistering pace we signed him for and terrorised the opposition 18 needed lets ignore this yeah? we had more of the ball but our back line looks so shaky at times Hogan is the most accident prone footballer ive ever seen EVER he gifts goals like its christmas  its an away game though, so its not the end of the world i guess 18 needed another game dominated

This is it This is what it comes down to A massive month, easily the biggest in the clubs history Can we do it? Can we do the unthinkable? People wrote us off People said we were "too small a club" what do they know?
